Duties & Responsibilities


  • Develop and update the company’s marketing and communications strategy.

  • Partner with the relevant department heads to develop marketing plans for the company in line with the overall brand strategy.

  • Monitor the marketing budget for proposed activities and ensure efficient use and tracking of the same.

  • Develop and manage the annual marketing calendar to ensure accurate ease of tracking and coordination.

  • Suggesting and uploading promotions and deals on a weekly basis.

  • Raising profile with delivery partners.

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence.

  • Convert website visits in E-commerce into online sales by making the online shopping experience as easy as possible and by introducing special deals.

  • Deliver profitable pay per click campaigns across multiple ad networks, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and paid social advertising.

  • Manage online presence and brand of the company through social networking tools such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to allow the company engage with consumers in real time.

  • Develop and increase online presence through high-quality backlink generation, guest posting, and other initiatives that elevate status and brand exposure online.

  • Track the website traffic flow.

  • Undertake detailed on-going analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure objectives are measurable, clear, targets are met, and ROI (Return on Investment) is analyzed.

  • Review the on-going competitor analysis report and make appropriate recommendation on brand strategy.

  • Prepare brand strategy presentations and plans for periodic communication to key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proactively lead the creation of, and strict adherence to the marketing department standard operating procedures SOPs.

  • Lead and facilitate monthly engagement meetings with relevant departmental stakeholders to review brand strategy, priorities and required actions for achievement of brand goals and targets.

  • Ensure the consistency and integrity of the brand is adhered to from a visual/corporate identity perspective, personality, tonality, content, partnerships etc.

  • Develop, maintain and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly marketing reports that help in the tracking of the effectiveness of all marketing activities.

  • Look for collaborative marketing opportunities for the company with external parties.

  • Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.

  • Oversee the maintenance, administration and updating of the hotel’s website and other owned media.

  • Promote positive relations with suppliers, partners and sponsors.

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and standards within the hospitality industry.

  • Perform any additional duties from time to time.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, business administration or relevant field will be an added advantage.

  • At least 2 years in a similar role

  • Excellent organizational and record keeping skills

  • Excellent writing and reporting skills

  • Strong communications skills

  • Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.
